Live Virtual Certification Preparation Courses

Our newly re-designed virtual courses take place over the course of 2 - 4 weeks and provide both live instruction from experienced NAMSS instructors via Zoom and interactive modules through our learning management system for a dynamic learning experience.

• The newly-redesigned NAMSS Credentialing Specialist Certification Preparation Workshop is a 2 - 4 week interactive program designed to help you assess your knowledge of the CPCS exam content and identify areas in which additional study is necessary before you take the exam.

• The newly-redesigned NAMSS Medical Services Management (CPMSM) Certification Preparation Workshop is a 2 - 4 week interactive program designed to help you assess your knowledge of the CPMSM exam content and identify areas in which additional study is necessary before you take the exam. 

Live In-Person Certification Preparation Courses

NAMSS offers our in-person courses on a national level in conjunction with the Annual Education Conference in the fall (September/October). Please also note that additional offerings may occur locally at the State Association level. NAMSS is proud to offer cutting-edge, online on-demand educational courses that offer a wealth of information reflecting the broad array of responsibilities and competencies for professionals committed to the delivery of quality health care.

Please note: Online courses are designed as entirely online modules. While they may include additional resources that you can print out, the course material is not printable. Online courses expire after a year.

Credentialing Specialist (CPCS®) Online Study Guide

• The NAMSS Credentialing Specialist (CPCS®) Study Guide is a printable reference guide designed to help MSPs prepare for the CPCS® exam. This comprehensive resource covers exam topics, including credentialing and privileging; primary source verification; compliance with standards; and medical services operations.
