• According to the Joint Commission, intimidating and disruptive behavior on medical teams undermines a culture of safety in the clinical environment. Medical Staff Professions (MSPs) can play a vital role in helping to manage these challenging situations and assist institutional leadership in creating a positive clinical workplace. This webinar will focus on practical steps MSPs can take to work with human resource professionals and clinical leadership to establish a policy framework on communication standards that is applied consistently. In addition, the session will include approaches to behavioral intervention in acute and/or chronic situations where standards have been violated. The speaker will share "best practice" wisdom gained from interviews with MSP leaders.
