Description: 

• Join speakers from Intealth and ECFMG, a division of Intealth, for a discussion of the process through which international medical graduates (IMGs) enter U.S. graduate medical education. Topics will include the ECFMG Certification process and requirements; the Electronic Residency Application (ERAS®) and Match® process for IMGs; and J-1 Visa Sponsorship. Alison Webster of University of New Mexico Health and former NAMSS Board Member will provide insight into the importance of MSP knowledge of these processes.

1. Gain insight into the role of IMGs in the U.S. health care system
2. Understand the process through which IMGs become eligible for, apply for, and ultimately enter U.S. GME programs 
3. Explore resources available to support MSPs in credentialing of IMGs
