• “You want me to do what?!” In this presentation, we will give insight into operational functions that we do not always discuss. Are you responsible for maintenance of call schedules, physician gifts and tokens, and/or assessment of referring practitioners, managing the physician’s lounge, throwing a party? This presentation will show you how to ensure compliance and effectiveness for these operational activities that rely on Medical Staff and Medical Staff Services participation.
  
  We will highlight common functions that may involve or be the responsibility of the Medical Staff Services Department and often have inter-department dependencies. We will provide ideas on how to operationalize collaborative processes across the departments to ensure accreditation compliance along with resources to support your own policy and process development and avoid pitfalls along the way.
