• Description: Looking for that foundational knowledge that will enable you to establish a compliant managed care credentialing program from A-Z?  This program is for medical services professionals that are new to the managed care field or are seeking delegation from payers.  Using best practices and real-life applications in the workplace, attendees will learn key concepts applicable to NCQA standards and CMS regulations in managed care, including policies and procedures, initial credentialing and recredentialing requirements, acceptable verification sources, ongoing monitoring, facility credentialing, and delegation.  

PAs & NPs: Updates and Emerging Issues in 2019

• Description: Physician assistants (PAs) and nurse practitioners (NPs) are increasingly providing care in new settings and specialties, creating challenges for the credentialing committee and medical staff professionals.  This session will address emerging issues and provide detailed information on certification, regulatory compliance, and case examples.

System Privileging: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, and the Do Over
